Deleting your account

You can delete your SplitKhata account and its data yourself, from inside the app, in about ten seconds. No email, no waiting, no form.
In the app
- Open SplitKhata and tap your picture in the top right of the groups screen
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account
- Confirm
Your name, your email address, any account details you added and your notification token are erased straight away, and you are signed out for good. You cannot undo it.
You will be asked to finish up first. If you still have money to pay, or money to get back, in any group, the app will say so and ask you to settle it before deleting. That is deliberate: your friends' totals depend on yours.
By email
If you have lost access to your account, or would simply rather ask, write to javediqbal8381@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with, with "Delete my account" as the subject. It will be done within 30 days, usually within a few days.

The expenses have to stay. Other people's balances were worked out from them, and deleting them would quietly change what your friends believe they owe each other. Nothing that identifies you is left attached to them.
